Data sources & attribution

Our maps are made from open data. This page credits the projects and public bodies whose work makes them possible, as their licences require. If you spot something missing or wrong here, please tell us and we will fix it.
Map data
Contains map data from OpenStreetMap contributors, available under the Open Database License (ODbL). Our maps read it from the vector tiles of OpenFreeMap.

Building data
Buildings, monuments and their roofs come from the buildings theme of the Overture Maps Foundation, available under the Open Database License (ODbL). It combines these sources:

The titles on our maps are set in Tinos, © The Tinos Project Authors, under the SIL Open Font License 1.1.
This website is set in Playfair Display (© The Playfair Display Project Authors) and Inter (© The Inter Project Authors), both under the same licence and served from our own server.
Licences
Except where stated otherwise above, the data on this page is made available under the Open Database License 1.0. Our finished maps are produced works under that licence: the physical objects we sell are ours, and the underlying open data stays open for everyone.
